What Determines the Price of an Electric Wheelchair?
Weight and frame material
Magnesium-alloy or aluminium models at 11-16kg cost more than 25-30kg steel frames, but they lift into a car boot easily and are airline approved.
Battery type
Lithium batteries are lighter, last longer and can fly with you. Lead-acid batteries are cheaper but heavy and unsuitable for travel.
Maximum load
Heavy-duty models rated to 150kg use stronger motors and frames, so they cost more than standard 100-120kg models.
Seat width
A 56cm wide seat for larger users costs more than the standard 45-48cm.
Airline approval
Foldable models with a removable battery under 300Wh are accepted by MAS, AirAsia and Saudi Airlines, and usually sit in the mid-to-upper price band.
Rent or Buy: Which Is Cheaper?
Simple rule: rent if you need it for under 6 months, buy if you need it for more than a year. In between, rent first and convert to a purchase.
- Minimum rental is 1 month, with no maximum.
- Rentals of 3 months or more need no deposit. Shorter rentals carry a fully refundable RM500 deposit.
- If you buy after renting, we deduct up to 3 months of rent from the purchase price.
- 7-day trial on rentals: if you are not satisfied, return it for a full refund.
- Maintenance is included in the rental price. Purchases are covered by a 3-year warranty.
Example: renting the basic model at RM350/month a month for 6 months comes to RM2,100, about the same as buying it for RM1,999. After that, every rental month is extra cost.

How much is the monthly rental for an electric wheelchair?+
Electric wheelchair rental starts from as low as RM350 per month for our basic foldable model. Premium models start from RM600/month, and our ultralight model from RM900/month. All rental packages include free delivery, setup, and basic maintenance.
What is the price to buy an electric wheelchair?+
Purchase prices range from RM1,999 for basic models to RM5,100 for our ultralight magnesium wheelchair. Our bestselling Heavy Duty Auto is RM3,500. All purchases include 3-year warranty, free delivery, and lifetime servicing support.
Is there a deposit required for rental?+
For rentals of 3 months or more, NO deposit is required. For shorter rental periods, a refundable deposit of RM500 applies. The deposit is fully refunded upon return of the wheelchair in good condition.
Can I upgrade from rental to purchase?+
Yes! If you decide to purchase after renting, we will deduct up to 3 months of rental payments from the purchase price. This way, your rental wasn't wasted - it was a try-before-you-buy experience.
Why is your wheelchair cheaper than others?+
We import directly and focus only on electric wheelchairs - no middlemen markup. We also prioritize rental model which gives us volume advantage. Our price is lower but quality meets the same MDA standards as expensive brands.
Do you offer corporate or bulk discounts?+
Yes! We offer special rates for nursing homes, hospitals, NGOs, and bulk orders (5+ units). Corporate rental programs also available. Contact us for a custom quotation based on your requirements.
Which is cheaper - rent or buy?+
Depends on duration! For 1-6 months, renting is cheaper (RM350/month = RM2,100 for 6 months). For 9+ months, buying makes more sense (RM1,999 one-time for basic). We recommend: rent first for 3 months to try, then decide. We'll deduct rental from purchase price!
Got installment payment?+
For purchases, we accept 0% credit card installment (3-6 months via major banks). For rentals, you're essentially paying monthly anyway! We also work with some employers for salary deduction arrangements. WhatsApp us to discuss payment options.
Any discount for senior citizens?+
